Security personnel mainly officials of the Nigerian Navy have intercepted three bus load of 31 passengers at ErinIle in Kwara State/ Osun state boundary.
The travelers were said to have been arrested on Thursday.
The alleged lockdown violators had been immediately handed over to the state police command for.prosecution.
Spokesman of the state Technical Committee on COVID-19, Rafiu Ajakaye said the action was part of the activities of the Offa local government area COVID-19 committee in collaboration with Igbomina Mobile Healthcare and the security agencies to secure the border.
The suspects, it was gathered, were arraigned in court on Friday.
