President Muhammadu Buhari has lost one of his relatives, his nephew, Alhaji Mutari Dauda, to death.
Alhaji Dauda was younger brother to Mallam Mamman Daura, who has been described as one of the strongest influences on President Buhari as well as on the administration.
Meanwhile, President Buhari has sent condolence messages to his extended family and the entire Daura community in Katsina State over the death of Alhaji Dauda.

In a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, President Buhari charged the family of the deceased as well as the entire extended family, to pray for the repose of the departed.

All Progressives Congress National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has commiserated with President Muhammadu Buhari over the death of his nephew, Alhaji Mutari Dauda, who is also Mallam Mamman Daura’s younger brother.
The APC leader also condoled with Mamman Daura, the extended family and the entire Daura community in Katsina State over the passing.
In a condolence message issued yesterday by his Media Office and signed by Mr. Tunde Rahman, Asiwaju Tinubu said: “I would like to commiserate with President Muhammadu Buhari over the passing yesterday of his nephew, Alhaji Mutari Dauda, who is also Mallam Mamman Daura’s younger brother.
